Step into a place where you can walk on Jupiter, test your weight on Mars and disappear into a black hole — all without leaving Warsaw. Located inside Blue City, Kosmopark turns space exploration into a giant interactive playground filled with VR missions, planetariums, astronaut training and hands-on experiments.

Instead of reading facts from museum walls, visitors move through more than 40 interactive zones designed to make science feel playful and genuinely fun. One moment you are learning how astronauts live on the International Space Station, the next you are spinning inside a gyroscope or recording a voice message “sent” into deep space.

A cosmic adventure for kids and adults

The project first launched in 2022 and quickly became one of the most popular travelling science attractions in Central Europe. The Warsaw edition is currently the largest version of the exhibition, covering around 1800 square meters.

The experience begins with a short introduction before opening into interactive zones packed with simulations, experiments and immersive effects. Visitors can:

• enter a vortex simulating a black hole
• explore VR missions to Mars and the Moon
• visit a planetarium and watch galaxy projections
• test astronaut training equipment
• discover how much they would weigh on different planets
• smell what space supposedly smells like
• build mini universes during creative workshops

One of the funniest attractions is the planetary age calculator, where adults suddenly discover they are “three years old” on Neptune.

Space missions, workshops & family fun

The exhibition was designed for families, school groups and anyone who still secretly wants to become an astronaut. Workshops include galaxy-themed crafts, science experiments and creative activities inspired by real space missions.

The atmosphere feels much closer to a sci-fi movie set than a classic science museum. Neon lighting, cosmic sounds and glowing installations constantly pull visitors into the experience. Many people arrive expecting a quick visit and end up spending several hours exploring different zones.
