Bolesław the Brave – Poland’s First King
In 1025, Bolesław I Chrobry, son of Poland’s first ruler Mieszko I, was crowned the country’s first king. Known as Bolesław the Brave, he expanded Poland’s territory, strengthened the monarchy, and positioned the young state as an important power in medieval Europe. His reign marked a turning point in Polish history.
